Sara O'Leary is a well-renowned author of picture books. Her book This is Sadie, illustrated by Julie Morstad, was adapted by the New York City Children's Theatre. Its companion title This is Ruby is equally beloved, as well as Sara's books Night Walk, illustrated by Ellie Arscott, Gemma and the Giant Girl, illustrated by Marie Lafrance and the recipient of several honors in Canada, and A Kid is a Kid is a Kid, illustrated by Leng Qin. Her first picture book with Walker is The Little Books of the Little Brontës, illustrated by Briony May Smith. Sara lives in Canada. Since then, she has been shortlisted for the British Comic Awards and has twice been highly commended for the Macmillan Children's Prize. She also illustrated The Giant's Necklace, written by Michael Morpurgo and Tooth Fairy in Training and Witch in Training, both written by Michelle Robinson.
