Ben Lerwill ist Autor, preisgekrönter Reisejournalist, begeisterter Koch und ein sehr schlechter Gitarrist. Dinge, die ihn glücklich machen, sind unter anderem Wildtiere, lange Spaziergänge und Cricket. Er lebt mit seiner Familie und seinem Hund in Oxford.Mark Chambers ist Autor und Illustrator von Büchern für Kinder und Jugendliche.
