Ben Lerwill ist Autor, preisgekrönter Reisejournalist, begeisterter Koch und ein sehr schlechter Gitarrist. Dinge, die ihn glücklich machen, sind unter anderem Wildtiere, lange Spaziergänge und Cricket. Er lebt mit seiner Familie und seinem Hund in Oxford.Mark Chambers ist Autor und Illustrator von Büchern für Kinder und Jugendliche. Er stand auf der Shortlist des World Illustration Awards AOI und des Roald Dahl Funny Prize. Außerdem hat er 2013 den Sheffield Kinderbuchpreis gewonnen. Mark lebt und arbeitet in den Bergen der französischen Pyrenäen, hoch in den Wolken, mit seiner Frau und zwei sehr lebhaften Jagdhunden.
