The focus of the study is the guideline competence assigned to the German Medical Association (Bundesärztekammer) by the Transplantation Act (Transplantationsgesetz) in the area of post-mortem organ transplantation. A further focus is a detailed legal and constitutional assessment of the specific guidelines of the German Medical Association on liver transplantation.
