»Punishment under the Rule of Law« Prof. Dr. Dr. h. c. mult. Keiichi Yamanaka, the honoree of this Festschrift, professor of criminal law at Kansai University in Osaka, Japan, apart from contributing to Japanese criminal law, dedicated himself particularly to German criminal legal doctrine and has brought both criminal legal systems closer to each other by his comparative legal analyses.
