»On the Necessity and Implementation of an Independent Criminal Liability for the Operation of Digital Trading Platforms. A Critical Analysis of § 127 StGB in the Light of Preparatory Criminal Law«: The dissertation deals with the new law created in 2021 on the criminal liability of operating »criminal trading platforms on the Internet« according to § 127 StGB. The legislative process is reviewed and the specific law is analyzed and evaluated in the light of information technology, constitutional and criminal law dogmatics, criminology as well as practice-oriented aspects. Based on the formulated criticism, a separate draft law de lege ferenda is developed.
